- The Mayfield Belt is not a lifting device. The belt is designed to facilitate correct transfer techniques and thereby reduce the risk of injury to carers and clients. The belt also allows for a secure grip on a client who may be unsteady when walking. To fit the belt, place it firmly around the client's waist, similar to a normal belt. Available in three lengths: Small, Medium and Large.
