2010-2013 Strategic Plan

Launched on Thursday 30th July 2009 by the Board, the Strategic Plan (PDF, 84Kb) outlines our approach and strategic priorities from 2010 until 2013.

The future has never contained more possibilities and challenges for us. We’re operating in a fast changing and fluid environment, one driven by changing community expectations, emerging government policies, significant resource shifts and complex compliance requirements. We are therefore embracing new ways of working, radical innovation and seeking to be more agile. The aspirations of our employees are changing and there is a growing workforce shortage.

To meet these challenges, we are investing in workforce development and technology. This plan sets the strategic priorities for four years until 2013 and is supported by an annual business plan, guiding the key activities for that year.

Constitution of Yooralla

Yooralla has been supporting people with disability since 1918. Today, this support encompasses not only people with disability, but also their families and carers.

Thousands of children and adults with disability have been supported to live the life they choose.

Today Yooralla provides essential services for children and adults with disability, their families and carers that include a range of accommodation alternatives, respite, in-home support, therapy, attendant care, specialised equipment, employment, recreation, information and training and practical skills for daily living.

Yooralla's services are shaped to provide support and encouragement to those who are born with disability, to those who have acquired disability through accident, ill health and ageing.

Yooralla will work with all its stakeholders to meet the legitimate and growing expectations of people with disability for a more inclusive, barrier free society.
