What are Employment Services?
Yooralla's Employment Services offer support and training to people with disabilities by assisting them in achieving their individual potential.
Training is available in a range of skills and competencies including:
- office administration
- fork-lift driving
- woodwork and light assembly
- operation of a range of packaging machines
- cleaning
- occupational health and safety
Yooralla have three supported workshops that specialise in light assembly, process packaging, cool room, clean room, shrink wrapping, and direct marketing. These services are based in Footscray, Brunswick and Mooroopna. Together these businesses are known as DualWare Industries. People with disabilities who work at DualWare develop skills from collating, inserting, labelling and heat sealing to driving fork-lifts.
Our Employment Services are quality endorsed companies. We train our staff to use the latest modern equipment, knowledge and cost-effective processing methods.
Dual Ware Industries is committed to listening to its employees and helping them have their say. Each work place has a committee of elected representatives who meet on a regular basis to talk about issues facing them and to help the workplace better address their needs. These committees are a valued and important means of ensuring that our businesses continue to meet the needs of people with disabilities.
