Yoorallas Early Careers Professional Program for New and Graduate Therapists

What is the Early Careers Professional Program (ECPP)?

Our program supports new and graduate therapists entering the Disability Sector. The program is for:

  • Occupational Therapists
  • Physiotherapists
  • Speech Pathologists

The program runs over 18 months to 2 years to give new therapists a supportive environment to learn in with the aim of getting you to a Grade 2 level by the end.

These are permanent full-time roles, so once you exit the program you stay part of the team!

Our ECPP practitioners work with clients across the lifespan focussing on different areas such as:

  • Early Intervention
  • Assistive Technology
  • Supporting young people grow independence
  • Facilitate transitions into independent living
  • Keeping people mobile and physically well through programs such as hydrotherapy
  • Building communication skills through 1:1 therapy and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)

Our clients are seen at our offices, in their homes, kindergartens or schools, day services and in work places. We work in both multidisciplinary or trans-disciplinary teams to focus on people’s goals with the aim of improving people’s quality of life.
