Information Hubs about the NDIS
To assist people with disability, their carers and families prepare for the transition to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Yooralla can provide free information sessions.
As part of Yooralla’s commitment to supporting people with disability, their families and carers, we are able provide information sessions that give you the NDIS basics and tips to prepare for planning. Our presentations are supported by practical tools to support your planning preparations. We have three main types of presentations:
- Free one hour information sessions on the NDIS basics
Designed for the wider community interested in the NDIS to provide an overview of how it will work
- Free one hour information sessions for families with a child with a disability
This is tailored for people with a child under the age of 18 with a disability who will be transitioning into the NDIS
- Free two hour workshops for people with a cognitive disability and their carers
Covering the basics of the NDIS, what it means for people with disability and their carers, and what to consider when setting goals and thinking about outcomes.
Please note that information sessions will be held subject to the availability of our presenters.
