The Australasian Society for Intellectual Disability (ASID) is inviting supporters of people with an intellectual disability, both professionals and carers, to a seminar promoting the good health and healthcare of people with an intellectual disability.

The Australasian Society for Intellectual Disability (ASID) is inviting supporters of people with an intellectual disability, both professionals and carers, to a seminar promoting the good health and healthcare of people with an intellectual disability.

In order to address, and promote discussion on, a range of health care issues, the seminar will hear from Doctor Jane Tracy, Director of the Centre for Developmental Disability Health at Monash Health and Professor Nick Lennox, Director of the University of Queensland’s Centre for Intellectual & Developmental Disability.

Doctor Jane Tracy is a Yooralla board member and has worked with people with disability for over 25 years. Her particular focus is on the health and healthcare issues of people with intellectual and associated disabilities within health services, and supporting doctors and healthcare professionals to better understand and address these issues and needs.
