Independent Living Centre
Providing you information, training and access to communication and assistive technologies.
The Independent Living Centre (ILC) supports people with disability and seniors, their families and carers to access information about communication and assistive technology.
Our team can help you to enhance your functional independence at home, at work, and in your local community, further empowering you to live the life you choose.
Communication and assistive technology can include equipment to enhance and support your independence, including (but not limited to):
- day-to-day equipment in the home
- mobility equipment such as walkers
- wheelchairs, and
- modifications to your environment.
A range of assistive technology can be viewed and trialled at the ILC. Yooralla's team of trained therapists are available to provide you with information and advice, to ensure you make informed choices about the technology best suited to you.
The ILC does not sell equipment, but provides retailer details through the national ILC database.
