Kindergarten Inclusion Support Service
Our Kindergarten Inclusion Support Service (KISS) supports the inclusion of children with a severe disability into Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) funded four year old community kindergarten programs.
‘Inclusion’ is an essential key to enhancing the lives of people with disability. It refers to an environment in which all people are valued, feel a sense of belonging and are given opportunities to participate fully and equally.
KISS promotes an inclusive environment in kindergartens; one in which every child is valued for their unique attributes and qualities.
Yooralla is the Auspicing Agency for the Kindergarten Inclusion Support Service in the Southern Metropolitan Region.
