Assistive Technology Learning
Yooralla Assistive Technology Learning provides education and training on Assistive Technology (equipment) to health professionals, carers and others who work with people with disability and the ageing population.
We are based at Yooralla’s Independent Living Centre.
We provide
Courses and workshops
The 2013 program includes a range of workshops covering basic through to complex equipment.
Registration and payment
Please register early as some events may be filled quickly. Register for our workshops using our online booking system
Full payment confirms your place in an event. Payment should be received within one month of booking or prior to the closing date (one week prior to the event). Exceptional circumstances will be considered.
Cancellation / refund policy
If you wish to cancel your booking please contact us.
- Cancellations made 6 business days or more before an event will eligible for a full refund
- Cancellations made between 5 days and up to 48 hours before an event will be eligible for an 80% refund
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before an event will receive no refund
Substitute delegates can be negotiated and exceptional circumstances will be considered.
Events may be cancelled if a minimum number of people do not register. Registrants will be notified one week prior to the event date and will be offered the option of attending an alternative future event or receiving a full refund.
Supplier display days
We hold a series of supplier display days featuring a broad range of the latest assistive technology equipment. These events are a great opportunity to review and increase your knowledge of the range of products and equipment available.
