Community cafes for cultural diverse communities about the NDIS

Posted on 28 September 2016 by

A number of community information sessions for culturally diverse communities are being held throughout Melbourne’s north-east to explain the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

These events, known as community cafes, will provide an opportunity for Chinese (Mandarin), Somali, Vietnamese, Italian and Greek communities to learn, with the support of interpreters, about:

  • changes to the disability services sector
  • how to get ready for these changes, and
  • where to go to access more information.
