Yooralla to deliver information forums about the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) at Knox City Council

As part of Yooralla’s commitment to educating the wider community about the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Yooralla’s Community Engagement team will be presenting at a series of information forums focusing on what the NDIS will mean for people with disability.

As part of Yooralla’s commitment to educating the wider community about the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Yooralla’s Community Engagement team will be presenting at a series of information forums focusing on what the NDIS will mean for people with disability.

The NDIS is set to begin rolling out in the outer eastern region of Victoria from 1 November, resulting in significant changes to the way disability services are provided.

The next free information forum will be held at Wantirna South and will provide important, up-to-date information to ensure people with disability, their families and carers are informed and can prepare.

The forum will provide an opportunity to:

  • understand how the NDIS works
  • learn more about planning and preparation for transition to the NDIS, and
  • ask questions about how the NDIS will impact you and your family.
