The I Can Vote website has videos of the election candidates explaining what they believe, and support to help our customers choose who they vote for. It also has information about democracy and politics, as well as resources for carers, and supports workers to support customers to learn about voting. Audio resources are also available on the website.

Yooralla held an information session this week, featuring a guest speaker from the VEC, to support our customers to learn about the voting process and how our democracy works.

Jeanette also represents Yooralla on the Victorian Electoral Commission’s Disability Advisory Committee, which also offers regular information sessions.

Please contact Jeanette Lee, Yooralla Customer Rights and Empowerment Practitioner, at jeanette.lee@yooralla.com.au or on 03 9666 4500, if you or someone you know would like to attend an information session before the election.
