Volunteer with Yooralla
DATE: 22 November 2018
Yooralla is calling for volunteers to support the organisation, as part of its fundraising campaign on Monday 3 December 2018, International Day of People with Disability.
Yooralla has been granted a Day of Significance which is a special permit by the City of Melbourne to be the only organisation that can fundraise in Melbourne’s Central Business District (CBD) on that day. The event will also be an opportunity to highlight Yooralla’s centenary of supporting people with disability.
We are looking for volunteers to support us on major intersections. Yooralla staff will support volunteers at each of the intersections.
Funds raised from the day will go to supporting Yooralla’s services across Victoria. It will assist with purchasing equipment, help train staff and to undertake research into disability.
If you would like to volunteer on the day to support the activities in the CBD, please contact Carmen Doeve on firstname.lastname@example.org or call (03) 9666 4500.
Donations can be made on the day through placing coins or notes in tins held by volunteers around Melbourne’s CBD or by online here www.yooralla.com.au/donate.
Have your NDIS questions answered at one of Yooralla's free one-on-one NDIS discussions. Many locations available.
