Jessica, a participant at Yooralla’s Learning Hub, has had a busy couple of weeks being filmed going about her full schedule of activities with the Learning Hub.
Jessica is the star of Yooralla’s video entry for the Yarra Trams Community Partnership Program competition, for which we have been shortlisted in the top 20 out of 80 entries! The competition provides the opportunity for a not-for-profit organisation to be featured on a Yarra Tram.
Jessica is a regular tram traveller who loves dancing, which made her the perfect choice to star in the one minute video.
The video focused on Jessica’s goal to move out of home, and the activities Jessica does to help her achieve her goal, with the support of Yooralla and Yarra Trams. It showed Jessica at cooking and digital classes at the Learning Hub in Footscray, volunteering at Chelsea Op Shop and travelling on trams in Melbourne’s CBD.
Here are some behind the scene photos from the recent filming.

Yooralla has Community Hubs across Victoria, where people with disability can receive the support they require, meet new friends and get out in their local community, all while learning new skills.
