Anzela making big strides through physiotherapy

There is no stopping three-year-old Anzela, as her new crocodile walker – prescribed by Yooralla’s Physiotherapy team supports her to get out and-about!

This World Physiotherapy Day, Sheetal, Anzela’s mum wanted to share her appreciation for Grace, one of Yooralla’s incredible physiotherapists – for the support and independence she has given Anzela.

Hear from Anzela’s mum, Sheetal

“Anzela has Dravet Syndrome, a rare and severe form of epilepsy. It is a progressive and life-threatening disease,” explains Sheetal.

“Anzela experiences…global development delay, such that she is not able to walk yet, has feeding issues and so on.”

“After we…engaged with Yooralla, Anzela… [has had] a chance to learn a lot of things.”

“Especially from our Physiotherapist Grace, she really helped us to get a walker for Anzela with which she can move around, and she is enjoying it.”

“With the help of the Crocodile walker, she can go outside, [in the] backyard and move around.”

“We really like to thank Yooralla and our Physiotherapist Grace. We really appreciate it.”
