For people with disability aged 18+ who would like to take part in educational, recreational, creative, social and workplace skills activities.
What We Provide
We offer a diverse range of individual and group activities to enhance your life skills, social connections, and overall wellbeing. Whether you're looking to build confidence, improve your independence, or take part in recreational activities, our Community Access Support Services are here to help.

Wangaratta Community Access Hub has onsite and street parking at the site.
The Edwards St/Park Lane bus stop is on the opposite side of the site for the 403 bus route.
How to join a Yooralla Community Access Hub

Step 1 - Find a Hub

If you have any questions about the Hub, please contact us. We can work with you to tailor a program to your individual goals, needs and interests to enhance your life skills, independence and wellbeing.

Step 2 - Book in a visit
Complete our Request for service form linked on this page to let us know you're interested in the Wangaratta Community Hub. Once you submit a request our Yooralla Connect team will get in touch. We can support you to book in a free tour and chat to us to meet our staff and clients, see what activities are on offer, ask about anything else you may want to do, and to get familiar with the location.

Frequently asked questions about Wangaratta Community Access Hub
The Wangaratta Community Access Hub in regional Melbourne, is accessible from Melbourne city and Southern Cross Station you can purchase a ticket for the North Eastern Line that goes to Wangaratta. The Wangaratta Community Hub is a 14–20-minute walk (1.5 km) from the Station on Docker Street.
If you are already located in Wangaratta, we can put you in touch with a taxi company that many of our clients use to take them to the Community Access Hub – please ask us about this when you contact us. Alternatively, there are taxi’s available from the Wangaratta train station that can be booked to take you to the Hub.
As part of the Community Access Hub’s life skills programs, we offer travel training, road safety and safety in the community programs to support independent travel.

Our current Wangaratta Community Access Hub program is just an indication of the types of learning, social, active, community access and fun activities you may want to do through our Community Access Hub. Many of the Wangaratta Community Access Hub programs support participants with interacting and engaging with the community – this may be via the Community Access Hub or our other Social and Community Participation supports.
For every three clients at Wangaratta Community Access Hub in our group programs, we generally have one staff member. Our staff are trained in meal-time assistance, epilepsy and diabetes management, mediation administration, asthma, enteral meal support and positive behaviour support/behaviour of concern.
Yooralla also offers 1:1 support for people to participate in our Community Access Hubs and Recreation services through our Assistance with Daily Life service. This could range from support to get ready for the day, to support for you to attend a Wangaratta Community Access Hub program or community activity.
