Supporting many different activities

DSW’s support customers with daily activities, such as:

• everyday household tasks
• personal care (showering, bathing, toileting)
• meal assistance, and
• manual handling - such as using lifts and hoists.

Gbemisola, a Yooralla DSW who supports customers at one of Yooralla’s Accommodation services, also supports customers one-on-one in the community.

“Every Saturday we go to the movies, to the city and sometimes swimming,” she says.
