Join the Disability Employment Catalyst

We’ve joined forces with Achieve Australia, The Achieve Foundation and Life Without Barriers on the Disability Employment Catalyst (DEC).

The DEC is working with people with disability and disability service provides to create more opportunities for people with disability to find a job in the disability services sector.

As part of the catalyst, The Achieve Foundation are recruiting people with disability who are seeking employment, have used employment services, or have experience working in the disability sector for a paid opportunity to join a co-design panel and/or focus group.

Co-design panel

The co-design panel will help make decisions about how the DEC is built and developed, with all members of the panel being people with disability. Panel members will be asked to attend six meetings over 12 months, online via Microsoft Teams with an invitation to attend in-person for one session.

Focus groups

There are opportunities to join two, one-off focus groups, where participants will be asked to share their experiences of seeking employment and provide feedback on a proposal to train and support people with disability to work in the disability sector. These meetings will be held online, via Zoom.
