The Macey Heights Community Hub Saturday program is full of fun, friends and inclusive activities.
Macey Heights Community Hub recently hosted its second Saturday program – and it was another fantastic day full of connection, creativity, and community spirit.
Pizza pizzaz!
Ten clients came together for a hands-on pizza workshop, where they made their own dough from scratch and created their own delicious, personalised pizzas. From kneading and rolling to choosing toppings, everyone got involved and showed off their culinary flair.
Of course, no Macey Saturday is complete without great music, games, socialising and loads of laughter. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, with Italian music setting the mood while everyone enjoyed their handmade creations.
Rhys, a Hub client, said “it was all fun! The music was good.”
Isabella agreed that she “enjoyed all of it, especially the Italian music!”.

As these Saturday programs have continued to grow in popularity, we’re thrilled to share that the fun will continue on a fortnightly schedule from July!
A huge thank you goes out to Assistant Service Leaders, Tina and Slav, for organising the sessions, and to our dedicated Macey Heights staff who make these experiences possible. Your energy and commitment are what make these programs so special for our clients.
