Statement on the tragic events at Bondi

It's impossible to find the words to express our collective devastation and shock at last night's tragic events at Bondi Beach.

Berry Street Yooralla stands united in our horror and our condemnation of this senseless act of violence.

There is no justification for violence or hatred. We condemn antisemitism unequivocally. It has no place in our community or our workplace, and we stand firmly with the Jewish community and against racism and religious vilification in all forms.

Every day, Berry Street Yooralla staff work with open minds, open hearts and compassion to support people from across all the many diverse communities in Australia, including our Jewish community, and we will continue to support people to live their best lives, valuing, respecting and recognising that this diversity makes us all stronger.
