Two modern, single-level Fully Accessible SDA homes are located on the same quiet residential site in Benalla.

Each home has three large bedrooms with private adjoining ensuites, two living areas, a purpose-built kitchen, and generous outdoor space. The homes are spacious, light-filled and designed to support accessible shared living.

There is currently one private ensuite bedroom available in each home.

Both homes are open to applicants of any gender. Household compatibility, resident preferences, support needs and personal goals will be considered as part of the application process.

These are Fully Accessible SDA dwellings designed to support people with significant physical access needs.

Ceiling hoist access may be available or able to be considered, subject to confirmation and individual support needs.

Support at these homes

Yooralla provides disability support in each home, with sleepover support available overnight.

Residents are supported by experienced and trained staff who can assist with daily routines, personal care, health and wellbeing, household participation and community connection.

Yooralla’s approach focuses on each person’s preferences, goals, choice and control, while also considering the shared living environment.

The homes are located in a quiet street in Benalla, close to health services, transport and local amenities.

Eligibility

To be considered, applicants must:

• Be aged 18 years or over
• Have approved SDA funding in their NDIS plan
• Have funding suitable for a Fully Accessible SDA dwelling
• Be able to pay rent and accommodation costs
• Be willing to establish the relevant SDA residency agreement with the SDA provider
