Celebrating National Volunteer Week 2026

May 22, 2026

National Volunteer Week celebrates the positive impact volunteers make in communities every day.

This National Volunteer Week, we proudly recognise and thank the incredible volunteers who support our op shops and services across Victoria.

The 2026 theme, ‘Your Year To Volunteer’, celebrates the positive impact volunteers make in communities every day and encourages more people to experience the connection, purpose and belonging that volunteering can bring.

Our volunteers are at the heart of so much we do, from welcoming customers into our op shops, to supporting people accessing our services, helping create inclusive and connected communities for everyone. Their generosity, kindness and dedication make a meaningful difference each and every day.

Last year, we were especially proud to celebrate 50 years of our Benalla op shop, bringing together volunteers past and present to reminisce, share stories and reflect on the lasting friendships and community connections built over five decades. It was a wonderful reminder of the important role volunteers continue to play across our organisation and local communities.

To all our volunteers, thank you for the time, care and passion you bring to your roles. Your contribution is deeply valued and appreciated.
