Mansfield clients sing, create, and explore thanks to generous donations

Yooralla clients from our Mansfield Community Hub are singing a new tune, expressing their creativity, and exploring new horizons thanks to the ongoing generosity and fundraising efforts of the Mansfield American Motorcycle Club (MAMC).

In recent years, MAMC’s community fundraising efforts have supported clients from the hub to purchase a variety of items including, but not limited to, a sewing machine, fabric, craft equipment, a new smart tv, frames to display artwork, and a karaoke machine!

Suzanne, Assistant Service Leader at the Mansfield Community Hub said, “The karaoke machine has been a huge hit with our group, individuals, hub social events and a great way to encourage exercise with dance in programs.”

Prior to all purchases, staff from the Mansfield Hub consult with clients.

“For each donation that we have received a discussion with clients is always had to make sure that choice is given, and items will benefit the group,” said Suzanne.

Looking ahead, our clients are already planning exciting future adventures with the remaining funds. A trip to Bruno's Sculpture Garden in Marysville is on the horizon, offering a chance to explore art and nature.

Donations will also support upcoming art exhibitions in November and hopefully an exhibition for the month of October in an art space in Mansfield with the Art Council, providing a platform for clients to display their artistic talents and connect with the wider Mansfield community.

As a token of appreciation, clients from the Mansfield Hub have selected a small hamper filled with goodies, including home-made relish to express their thanks to the MAMC.
