Brush strokes of brilliance from our Mansfield Community Hub artists
Clients from our Mansfield Community Hub have been shining bright with their artwork success!
Mansfield Open Studio trail
Last month, artists from our Mansfield Community Hub showcased their incredible artwork in the Mansfield Open Studio trail (MOST) art exhibition. In this yearly exhibition, visitors explore Mansfield Shire on a self-guided tour over a weekend, discovering artists from the region. MOST celebrates community and creativity and is a great opportunity for the local community and visitors to gain an insight into the working of a studio – seeing practical demonstrations, artwork viewings and being able to purchase directly from the makers.
As part of this exhibition, clients and staff decked out the Mansfield Hub to display over 70 unique, individual artworks. Close to 100 people visited the Hub over the exhibition weekend to meet the artists and purchase their brilliant work.
Mansfield Hub artists sold 14 pieces of work, almost 100 of their greeting cards and some hand-dipped pots! Clients worked very hard on their artwork in the lead up to the event and were very excited to see their artwork on display and to open the Hub to the community and visitors.
Median to Rare exhibition and Mansfield Hospital Art Show
Mansfield Hub artists didn’t stop there! They channeled their creative talents into making a mosaic piece to enter in the Median to Rare exhibition. They ended up winning $200 for their entry!
Last, but certainly not least, three Mansfield Hub artists had their artwork entered in the annual Mansfield Hospital Art Show, with two artists selling their work!
It’s been a big few months for the Mansfield Community Hub artists, with fantastic results, and we can’t wait to see what they create next. A big congratulations to every artist involved!
