Here are the kinds of positions we offer to support people with disability:
In these roles our employees provide direct support to people with disability in their home, community, in camps and our Community Hubs. Activities in these roles often involve taking a customer out to their favourite activities in the community which might include shopping, going to the library or swimming lessons. Sometimes the role may require supporting a customer with their personal care such as toileting or bathing. Our recreation team supports customers on children’s holiday programs and camps, as well as enabling them to enjoy unique experiences such as abseiling or scuba diving.

Therapists and disability specialists
Yooralla provides a wide range of therapy support to people with disability of all ages. We have physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists and psychologists who often work in multi-disciplinary teams to support customers to achieve their goals. We employ many early intervention assistants and teachers with expertise in supporting children with disability. Case managers and support coordinators are a growing part of our workforce who assist customers manage their supports and NDIS plans.

Flexible work opportunities – we’re hiring now!
Right now, we’re recruiting people interested in working with children, young people and adults with disability.
We are looking for people who want to support people with disability, to enable them to actively participate in the community. Work is available out in the community, in our recreational programs, in people’s homes and in Yooralla’s community hubs. This means you can find something local that works for you.
You can take on as much or as little work as you like. The work is casual and the hours are flexible. You can work anytime during the day, as well as after-hours and on weekends.
No previous experience is necessary, just a desire to learn new skills and meet new people. Comprehensive training is provided for all new employees.
