What is Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)
Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) is an NDIS support, providing funds for people to live in specially designed SDA houses.
Depending on the property, you may be able to live on your own or with other people with disability.
This is funded separately to Supported Independent Living (SIL). SIL funds the supports you need in your home and SDA funds the physical home you live in.
Can Yooralla help me find a home?
Yes! We have a range of comfortable and secure Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) options across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria. You may choose to live in an apartment, unit or larger home.
Each of our SDA homes have been designed with accessibility features to help you live more independently and provide you with access to the supports you need in your home.
Medium-Term Accommodation (MTA)
We also offer Medium-Term Accommodation (MTA) supports in Box Hill and Glenroy. These homes are warm, inviting and centrally-located. If you have MTA funded in your NDIS plan and need a place to live while you’re waiting for your permanent home, we can help you.
Does Yooralla provide Supported Independent Living (SIL)?
Yes! We can support you with everyday tasks in your home with our Supported Independent Living (SIL) services, so you can live independently while building your skills.
