Staying Connected @ Work
Delivering job skills and staying connected with work online
Coronavirus (COVID-19) may have changed the way we support you over this time, but it hasn’t changed the many opportunities available to you to meet your employment goals. That’s why we’re excited to bring you Staying Connected@Work, giving you more choice over how you learn, interact and develop job skills – without leaving home.
Staying Connected@Work is an online learning program developed specifically for supported employees and NDIS participants aspiring to work, who are either:
- unable to participate in their usual work and learning at Yooralla’s Business Enterprises during coronavirus restrictions, and/or
- seeking to explore their employment goals.
The program aims to keep supported employees actively engaged in work and motivated to return when it is safe to do so; and provides valuable information to those preparing to join the supported or open employment workforce. It also provides an important social outlet for participants.
Your online program activities
Staying Connected@Work offers a range of activities which are based around your employment goals. Programs include:
- healthy eating
- hygiene in the workplace
- goal setting
- getting to know you
- Occupational Health and Safety
- dreams and aspirations, and
- job seeking rights and responsibilities.
You have the choice of interactive learning online via Zoom classes or using custom course materials (or both).
